2. Grundprinzip
AppLock Offline wurde als lokale, datensparsame App entwickelt. Die App besitzt kein AppLock-Benutzerkonto, keinen AppLock-Server, keine Cloud-Synchronisierung, keine Werbung und keine Analyse- oder Tracking-SDKs.
3. Lokal gespeicherte Daten
- App-Einstellungen und abgeschlossene Einrichtungsschritte;
- Paketnamen der ausgewählten Apps;
- Sperrregel und optionale Schutzfunktionen;
- lokaler Pro-/Reviewer-Berechtigungsstatus;
- technische PIN-Prüfdaten ohne Klartext-PIN.
Diese Daten bleiben auf dem Gerät, bis sie geändert, die App-Daten gelöscht oder die App deinstalliert wird.
4. PIN und Android Keystore
AppLock Offline unterstützt einen 4- oder 6-stelligen PIN. Der PIN wird nicht im Klartext gespeichert. Stattdessen verwendet die App gesalzene lokale Prüfdaten und kryptografisches, an den Android Keystore gebundenes Material. MEA Netze kann den PIN nicht einsehen oder wiederherstellen.
Es gibt keine Cloud-Wiederherstellung. Bei vergessenem PIN kann das Löschen der App-Daten oder eine Neuinstallation erforderlich sein.
5. Biometrische Authentifizierung
Optional kann Android BiometricPrompt verwendet werden. Fingerabdrücke, Gesichtsdaten und biometrische Vorlagen verbleiben unter der Kontrolle von Android und der Gerätehardware. AppLock Offline erhält nur das Ergebnis der Authentifizierung und liest oder speichert keine biometrischen Vorlagen.
6. Nutzungszugriff
Der Android-Nutzungszugriff wird lokal verwendet, um zu erkennen, welche App aktuell im Vordergrund ist. So kann AppLock Offline feststellen, ob eine ausgewählte App geschützt werden muss.
- Die Verarbeitung erfolgt lokal.
- Es wird kein detaillierter App-Verlauf an MEA Netze übertragen.
- Es wird kein dauerhafter, detaillierter Nutzungsverlauf gespeichert.
7. Einblenden über anderen Apps
Die Overlay-Berechtigung wird ausschließlich für die PIN-/Biometrie-Sperroberfläche vor einer geschützten App verwendet. Sie wird nicht für Werbung, Tracking oder fremde Inhalte genutzt.
8. Vordergrunddienst und Benachrichtigung
Während der Schutz aktiv ist, nutzt AppLock Offline einen sichtbaren Android-Vordergrunddienst mit dauerhafter Benachrichtigung. Diese zeigt transparent, dass die Überwachung läuft, und kann Aktionen wie „AppLock öffnen“ oder „Schutz pausieren“ anbieten.
9. Ausgewählte Apps und Paketnamen
Paketnamen ausgewählter Apps werden lokal gespeichert. Diese Liste wird nicht an MEA Netze, Werbenetzwerke oder Analyseanbieter übermittelt.
10. Vorschläge für neu installierte Apps
Wenn die optionale Funktion aktiviert ist, kann AppLock Offline lokal erkennen, dass eine neue App installiert wurde, und einen Schutzvorschlag anzeigen. Normale Updates sollen keinen neuen Vorschlag auslösen. Apps werden niemals ohne ausdrückliche Nutzeraktion automatisch geschützt.
11. Bestmöglicher Deinstallationsschutz
Der optionale Deinstallationsschutz ist eine bestmögliche lokale Funktion. Er kann bestimmte Android- oder Herstelleroberflächen erkennen und eine Authentifizierung verlangen, kann eine Deinstallation jedoch nicht technisch unmöglich machen.
Abgesicherter Modus, „Stopp erzwingen“, Berechtigungsentzug, ADB, Löschen der App-Daten, Google-Play-Abläufe oder herstellerspezifische Oberflächen können die Funktion umgehen.
12. Google Play Billing und AppLock Pro
Käufe und Abonnements werden durch Google Play verarbeitet. AppLock Offline erhält nur die Produkt-, Kauf- und Berechtigungsinformationen, die für die Freischaltung unbegrenzt vieler geschützter Apps erforderlich sind. MEA Netze erhält keine vollständigen Karten- oder Bankdaten.
13. Support-E-Mail
Bei einer freiwilligen Support-E-Mail werden E-Mail-Adresse und Nachrichteninhalt zur Bearbeitung verarbeitet. AppLock Offline versendet keine E-Mails automatisch. Nutzer sollten niemals ihren PIN oder andere Authentifizierungsgeheimnisse per E-Mail senden.
14. Empfänger und Weitergabe
Lokale App-Daten werden nicht an Werbetreibende verkauft oder mit Werbenetzwerken geteilt. Daten können das Gerät nur in begrenzten Fällen verlassen, insbesondere bei Google-Play-Käufen oder Abonnementprüfungen, freiwilligen Support-E-Mails sowie technischer Systemverarbeitung durch Android oder den Gerätehersteller.
15. Rechtsgrundlagen
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO für gewünschte App- und Kauf-Funktionen;
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO für sicheren Betrieb, Fehlerbehebung und Support;
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, soweit eine Einwilligung erforderlich ist;
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO bei gesetzlichen Pflichten.
16. Speicherdauer und Löschung
- Lokale Einstellungen bleiben bis zur Änderung, zum Löschen der App-Daten oder zur Deinstallation gespeichert.
- Temporäre PIN-/Biometrie-Sitzungen und Freigaben werden nur im Arbeitsspeicher gehalten.
- Support-E-Mails werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie es zur Bearbeitung oder zur Erfüllung gesetzlicher Pflichten nötig ist.
- Google-Play-Kaufdaten unterliegen Googles Regeln und gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten.
17. Sicherheit
AppLock Offline verwendet Android Keystore, gesalzene PIN-Prüfdaten, getrennte Authentifizierungssitzungen und eine sichtbare Schutzoberfläche. Kein technisches System bietet absolute Sicherheit.
Android kann in „Letzte Apps“ bereits zuvor von einer anderen App erzeugte Vorschaubilder anzeigen. AppLock Offline kann ein vorhandenes Vorschaubild einer fremden App nicht nachträglich bereinigen.
18. Rechte
Soweit MEA Netze personenbezogene Daten verarbeitet, bestehen nach den gesetzlichen Voraussetzungen insbesondere Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch. Einwilligungen können mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen werden.
Da die meisten App-Daten nur lokal gespeichert werden, können sie durch Änderung der Einstellungen, Löschen der App-Daten oder Deinstallation entfernt werden.

20. Kinder
AppLock Offline richtet sich nicht gezielt an Kinder und erhebt wissentlich keine personenbezogenen Daten von Kindern über einen AppLock-Server.
21. Änderungen
Diese Erklärung kann angepasst werden, wenn sich Funktionen, gesetzliche Anforderungen oder Google-Play-Vorgaben ändern. Das Datum am Anfang zeigt den aktuellen Stand.

2. Privacy principle
AppLock Offline is designed as a local, data-minimizing application. It has no AppLock account, no AppLock server, no cloud synchronization, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
3. Data stored locally
- app settings and completed onboarding steps;
- package names of selected apps;
- relock rules and optional protection features;
- local Pro/reviewer entitlement state;
- technical PIN-verification data without the raw PIN.
This information remains on the device until changed, the app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
4. PIN and Android Keystore
AppLock Offline supports a 4- or 6-digit PIN. The raw PIN is not stored. The app uses salted local verifier data and cryptographic material bound to Android Keystore. MEA Netze cannot view or recover the PIN.
There is no cloud recovery. If the PIN is forgotten, clearing app data or reinstalling the app may be necessary.
5. Biometric authentication
Android BiometricPrompt may be enabled optionally. Fingerprints, face data, and biometric templates remain controlled by Android and the device hardware. AppLock Offline receives only the authentication result and does not read or store biometric templates.
6. Usage Access
Android Usage Access is used locally to detect which app is currently in the foreground, allowing AppLock Offline to determine whether a selected app requires protection.
- Processing takes place locally.
- No detailed app-opening history is sent to MEA Netze.
- No permanent, detailed usage history is retained.
7. Display over other apps
The overlay permission is used only to display the PIN/biometric lock surface over a selected app. It is not used for ads, tracking, or unrelated content.
8. Foreground service and notification
While protection is active, AppLock Offline uses a visible Android foreground service with an ongoing notification. The notification shows that monitoring is running and may offer actions such as opening AppLock or pausing protection.
9. Selected apps and package names
Package names of selected apps are stored locally. This list is not sent to MEA Netze, advertising networks, or analytics providers.
10. Newly installed app suggestions
When enabled, AppLock Offline may locally detect a newly installed app and display a suggestion. Normal updates should not trigger a new suggestion. Apps are never protected automatically without explicit user action.
11. Best-effort uninstall protection
The optional uninstall guard is a best-effort local feature. It may recognize certain Android or manufacturer uninstall surfaces and request authentication, but it cannot make uninstalling technically impossible.
Safe Mode, force stop, permission revocation, ADB, clearing app data, Google Play flows, or manufacturer-specific interfaces may bypass it.
12. Google Play Billing and AppLock Pro
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. AppLock Offline receives only the product, purchase, and entitlement information needed to unlock unlimited app capacity. MEA Netze does not receive full payment card or bank details through the app.
13. Support email
If a user voluntarily sends a support email, the email address and message content are processed to answer the request. AppLock Offline never sends emails automatically. Users should never send a PIN or other authentication secret by email.
14. Recipients and sharing
Local app data is not sold to advertisers or shared with advertising networks. Data may leave the device only in limited cases such as Google Play purchases or subscription checks, voluntary support emails, and technical system processing by Android or the device manufacturer.
15. Legal bases
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for requested app and purchase functions;
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure operation, troubleshooting, and support;
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is required;
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where legal duties apply.
16. Retention and deletion
- Local settings remain until changed, app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
- Temporary PIN/biometric sessions and authorization grants are held in memory only.
- Support emails are kept only as long as needed to answer or comply with legal duties.
- Google Play purchase data is subject to Google's rules and applicable legal duties.
17. Security
AppLock Offline uses Android Keystore, salted PIN verification, isolated authentication sessions, and a visible protection surface. No technical system provides absolute security.
Android may display a thumbnail previously generated by another app in Recents. AppLock Offline cannot retroactively sanitize an existing thumbnail created by another application.
18. User rights
Where MEA Netze processes personal data, users may have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future.
Because most app data is stored only on the device, it can be removed by changing settings, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.

20. Children
AppLock Offline is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect children's personal data through an AppLock server.
21. Changes

2. Osnovno načelo
AppLock Offline razvijen je kao lokalna aplikacija s minimalnom obradom podataka. Nema AppLock korisnički račun, AppLock poslužitelj, sinkronizaciju u oblaku, oglase ni SDK-ove za analitiku ili praćenje.
3. Lokalno spremljeni podaci
- postavke i završeni koraci početnog postavljanja;
- nazivi paketa odabranih aplikacija;
- pravilo ponovnog zaključavanja i opcionalne zaštitne funkcije;
- lokalni Pro/reviewer status;
- tehnički podaci za provjeru PIN-a bez sirovog PIN-a.
Podaci ostaju na uređaju do promjene, brisanja podataka aplikacije ili deinstalacije.
4. PIN i Android Keystore
AppLock Offline podržava 4- ili 6-znamenkasti PIN. Sirovi PIN ne sprema se. Koriste se posoljeni lokalni podaci za provjeru i kriptografski materijal vezan uz Android Keystore. MEA Netze ne može vidjeti niti vratiti PIN.
Ne postoji oporavak u oblaku. Kod zaboravljenog PIN-a možda će biti potrebno izbrisati podatke aplikacije ili ponovno instalirati aplikaciju.
5. Biometrija
Android BiometricPrompt može se opcionalno koristiti. Otisci prstiju, podaci lica i biometrijski predlošci ostaju pod nadzorom Androida i hardvera uređaja. AppLock Offline prima samo rezultat provjere i ne čita niti sprema biometrijske predloške.
6. Pristup korištenju aplikacija
Androidov pristup korištenju koristi se lokalno kako bi se utvrdilo koja je aplikacija trenutačno u prvom planu i treba li zaštitu.
- Obrada se odvija lokalno.
- Detaljna povijest otvaranja aplikacija ne šalje se MEA Netzeu.
- Ne sprema se trajna detaljna povijest korištenja.
7. Prikaz preko drugih aplikacija
Dozvola se koristi samo za prikaz PIN/biometrijskog zaslona zaključavanja preko odabrane aplikacije. Ne koristi se za oglase, praćenje ni nepovezani sadržaj.
8. Usluga u prvom planu i obavijest
Dok je zaštita aktivna, AppLock Offline koristi vidljivu Android uslugu u prvom planu sa stalnom obavijesti. Obavijest pokazuje da nadzor radi i može ponuditi otvaranje AppLocka ili pauziranje zaštite.
9. Odabrane aplikacije i nazivi paketa
Nazivi paketa odabranih aplikacija spremaju se lokalno. Popis se ne šalje MEA Netzeu, oglašivačkim mrežama ni pružateljima analitike.
10. Prijedlozi za novoinstalirane aplikacije
Kada je funkcija uključena, AppLock Offline može lokalno prepoznati novu instalaciju i prikazati prijedlog. Uobičajena ažuriranja ne bi trebala stvarati novi prijedlog. Aplikacije se nikada ne štite automatski bez izričite radnje korisnika.
11. Najbolja moguća zaštita deinstalacije
Opcionalna zaštita deinstalacije radi prema najboljoj mogućnosti. Može prepoznati određene Androidove ili proizvođačeve zaslone i zatražiti provjeru, ali ne može tehnički onemogućiti deinstalaciju.
Sigurni način rada, prisilno zaustavljanje, oduzimanje dozvola, ADB, brisanje podataka, Google Play postupci ili zasloni proizvođača mogu je zaobići.
12. Google Play Billing i AppLock Pro
Kupnje i pretplate obrađuje Google Play. AppLock Offline prima samo podatke o proizvodu, kupnji i pravu pristupa potrebne za neograničen broj zaštićenih aplikacija. MEA Netze ne prima potpune podatke o kartici ili bankovnom računu.
13. E-pošta za podršku
Ako korisnik dobrovoljno pošalje poruku podršci, adresa e-pošte i sadržaj poruke obrađuju se radi odgovora. AppLock Offline nikada ne šalje e-poštu automatski. Ne šaljite PIN ili druge tajne podatke e-poštom.
14. Primatelji i dijeljenje
Lokalni podaci ne prodaju se oglašivačima niti dijele s oglašivačkim mrežama. Podaci mogu napustiti uređaj samo u ograničenim slučajevima kao što su Google Play kupnja ili provjera pretplate, dobrovoljna poruka podršci i tehnička obrada Androida ili proizvođača uređaja.

- Privremene PIN/biometrijske sesije i odobrenja drže se samo u radnoj memoriji.
- Poruke podršci čuvaju se samo koliko je potrebno za odgovor ili zakonske obveze.
- Na Google Play kupnje primjenjuju se Googleova pravila i zakonske obveze.
17. Sigurnost
AppLock Offline koristi Android Keystore, posoljenu provjeru PIN-a, odvojene sesije provjere i vidljivi zaštitni zaslon. Nijedan tehnički sustav ne pruža apsolutnu sigurnost.
Android u prikazu nedavnih aplikacija može prikazati sličicu koju je prethodno stvorila druga aplikacija. AppLock Offline ne može naknadno očistiti takvu postojeću sličicu.
18. Prava korisnika
Kada MEA Netze obrađuje osobne podatke, korisnik može imati pravo na pristup, ispravak, brisanje, ograničenje obrade, prenosivost i prigovor. Privola se može povući za buduću obradu.
Budući da se većina podataka sprema samo lokalno, mogu se ukloniti promjenom postavki, brisanjem podataka ili deinstalacijom aplikacije.
